Writing Career

In high school I received the Creative Writing Award for my senior year portfolio. I honed my voice while attending Fordham University where served as a staff writer and editor for the off-campus publication, The Rival. After graduating I leaned into short-form video as my medium of self-expression and have revisited personal essay writing this year through publishing to Substack and hosting in-person writing workshops with the LA and NY-based writing collective, Where We Meet.

The most recent workshop I hosted was on February 26, 2026 at Steve’s Backhouse in Los Angeles. We invited 22 female writers to come explore themes of love, using The Diary of Anaïs Nin as our source text.

Where We Meet is a literary collective founded by author Sian Camille. I began attending the LA-based workshops in 2024 and immediately connected with Sian and her community and became the LA host in September 2025 when Sian relocated to New York City.

Workshops are held monthly and are centered around a theme and source text that feels relevant to the Where We Meet demographic. Sian and I create a one-pager with quotes, prompts, and words that attendees can use to inspire their writing.

Workshops are 3 hours length and are held at different locations around Los Angeles.

Workshop format as follows:~30 minutes settling in with coffee, tea, and/or pastries ~15 minute presentation (by me) about the theme, source texts, and one-pager ~45 minutes of solo writing ~1.5 hours of sharing writing with the group ~15 minutes goodbye chat
